x² + 2x  represent area of rectangle where x is breadth of rectangle  , x² - 2x  if x = Length

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say breadth of rectangle = x

Then length of rectangle = x + 2

Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth

=> Area of Rectangle = (x + 2)x

=> Area of Rectangle = x² + 2x

x² + 2x  represent area of rectangle where x is breadth of rectangle

Let say Length of rectangle = x

Then Breadth of rectangle = x - 2

Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth

=> Area of Rectangle = x ( x - 2)

=> Area of Rectangle = x² - 2x

x² - 2x  represent area of rectangle where x is Length of rectangle
