Precautions to be followed while testing the electrical conductivity of liquids:

1. see that the two metal pins or electrodes do not touch each other.
2. Make sure the two pins or electrodes are in contact with the solution.
3.After testing each liquid, wipe or dry the pins or electrodes.
4. Ensure that positive end of L.E.D is connected to positive end of battery and negative end to negative terminal of battery.
5. Do not try to taste the liquids.
6.Ensure proper connections are given
