Solution :-

finding the prime factors of 144 we get,

→ 144 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 { Required prime factors of 144 }

→ 144 = (2 * 2) * (2 * 2) * (3 * 3)

now, we know that, in order to find square root we must take one prime factor from pairs of two .

then,

→ √144 = 2 * 2 * 3 = 12 (Ans.)

or,

→ 144 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 3

→ 144 = 2² * 2² * 3²

→ 144 = (2 * 2 * 3)²

→ 144 = (12)²

→ √144 = √(12)²

using √(a)² = a ,

→ √144 = 12 (Ans.)

Hence, Option (3) is correct answer .
