DIFFUSION OF SOLUBLE DYE IN WATER - DEFINITIONThe following observation can be drawn from the activity of diffusion of soluble dye in water.The molecules of the dye was found to be more concentrated near the tablet of the dye.These molecules starts moving in the area, where they are absent.The movement continues till the solution is uniformly colored.DIFFUSION - DEFINITIONDiffusion refers to the process by which molecules of matters move from high concentration towards the low concentration.For example, when a sugar cube is dropped in a glass of water the particles of sugar mixed up in the water as they move from higher concentration of sugar cube towards the lower concentration of water.
