WRITE THE PROCEDURE FOR DISTILLATION . PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION VERY QUICKLY, IT'S URGENT .
Answers
Explanation:
Distillation is a process of separation of liquid on the basis of their boiling points.
There are two steps are involved in the distillation are ,
1- evaporation
2- condensation
When a mixture containing two different liquids with different boiling points is heated in the distillation flask, then a liquid with low boiling point converted into vapors and moves into condensor that is situated away from the distillation flask. Remember it that the temperature remain constant until all the molecules of a 1st liquid converted into vapors and moves into the condensor.
When all the vapors reached into the condensor then these vapors starts to condensed due to, the low temperature at the condensation zone. So all the vapors are converted into liquid again. And this liquid transfer to another flask.
1. Solution mixture is heated in a flask until the mixture boils.
2. Pure liquid turns into a vapour and leaves the flask.
3. Vapour is then cooled in a condenser which changes back into liquid.
4. Pure liquid collected is called the distillate and is collected in a flask.

Distillation work on the difference between relative volatility of the individual compent in the mixture.
If we talk about a laboratory set up
The mixture is heated in the flask.and then the low valotlity compent turn into the vapour and travel troung a column to the condenser and get cool down in condenser and turn into a liquid and collected in the receiving flask
Answer:
Distillation is a method of getting a pure liquid from a solution by evaporating and then condensing the vapour
Explanation:
When the solution is heated the liquid component of the mixture evaporates in the form of vapours. These vapours are then condensed back into the liquid form which is very pure and, this is called Distilate.
