The procedure that we performed to observe Lactobacillus bacterium to be observed in the laboratory is:
First, we take some warm milk in a bowl then we add a small amount of curd into it and keep it in an area slightly warmer.
Then leave it for some time.
Then after the curd is formed dilute it and then we stain the bacteria by methylene blue or safranin to see the bacteria as it is colorless.
Then we prepare the slide and observed the bacteria under a microscope.
The bacteria are rod-shaped or cocci shaped.

Answer:
Lactobacillus is a most commonly found bacteria in milk, yogurt and other dairy products. They are rod shaped, non-spore forming, gram positive bacteria. We can observe them by making a slide of yogurt: -Take a glass slide and put a drop of diluted yogurt on it, make a smear for 2 to 3 secs on the slide.
