write the process of photosynthesis

annu25: Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water. This glucose can be converted into pyruvate which releases adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by cellular respiration. Oxygen is also formed.

hey hi!!

In the process of photosynthesis we require sunlight, carbon dioxide, chlorophyll, soil, water

If only the plant contains chlorophyll then only it can perform the process of photosynthesis.

The leaves of the plants contain completely coloured pigment(green) called chlorophyll.

It helps it to absorb sunlight or solar energy which helps in photosynthesis.

Water and minerals present in the soil are absorbed by the roots are transported to the leaves.

Carbon dioxide from the air is taken through the tiny pores called stomata present in the leaves.

During photosynthesis plants synthesis carbon dioxide carbohydrates ( starch or glucose) and release oxygen.

hope this helps
