• Prepare the solution for caustic soda. Take required resin and castor oil amounts in a pan. The above substance is then heated until it is dissolved. Add the gradually caustic soda solution to following dissolved mass to the. Be vigilant not to overflow the pan in either situation. Add a caustic soda solution step by step to control this. That means the boiling is gradually decreased when a large part of caustic soda is mixed. Now add the remaining caustic soda solution and continue boiling for about 15 minutes.
• The heating is to be continued till the reaction is completed which can be ascertained by adding a few drops to a glass of water wherein a white solution must result.
• Now combine and heat the water. Let the water boil a bit, then extinguish, and then move into a steel drum, and and mix the light creosote oil stirring. Close them and keep cool for a day until the product is ready to be used only. This is a good fluid sort which creates a thick milky, white emulsion with a pleasant smelling odor if a little of it is added to a glass of water
