(a)In the first step,split the double bond and create polarity
After splitting double bond,the carbon which is attached to oxygen gets positive charge and the oxygen gets negative charge.
Then HCN--->(H+) + (CN-)
H+ attacks the oxygen having negative charge to form -OH
and CN- attacks the carbon having positive charge.
Finally the product is 1-hydroxy cyclohexanenitrile

(b)In the second question decarboxylation takes place which means the removal of CO2 from substrate.
