CHARGE :- fundamental physical property associated with electricity is known as charge .
some important fact about charge .
=================================
★ charge develop due to transfer of electrons .
★ charge is a scaler quantity , hence addition and subtraction follow algebraic rule .
★ if neutral body losses electrons it gets positive charge and if it accepts electrons get negatively charge .
★ if a body loses electrons it loses its mass and if accept electrons it gains mass .
★ CHARGE IS ALWAYS QUANTISED
this is most important property of charge .as you know , charge develop due to transfer of electrons and no of electrons never In fraction , hence charge develop on body is integral multiple of electronic charge .
e.g Q = ± ne
where, Q is total charge on a body
n is number of electrons and e is charge of one electrons .
★ Minimum no if electrons transfer from one body to another is equal to one , hence, minimum possible charge = ±1.6× 10^-19 C
★ Charge have nature to reside on outer surface of conductor to minimise energy of system .e.g it gains maximum stability .
★ charge may transfer from one body to another and it follow conservation rule .
★ charge always flows from higher potential to lower potential .
I know more points but that points are such a high level . here I gave some important basic properties which require if you study " electrostatic " .
"I hope this will help "

◆charge :- charge is an intrinsic property of matter through which force of attraction and repulsion is felt.
=) properties of charges:---
1) charge is a scalar quantity and it's SI unit is Coulomb ( C )
2) like charges repel each other and unlike charges attract each other
3) electric field lines are emanates from positive charge to negative charge.
4) charge can't exits without mass but mass can exist without charge .
5) charges are always integral multiple of electron I.e charges are always quantized.
=) Q = +_ ne
6) charge occurs due to transfer of electron . if a body losses electron then it will be electron deficient i.e positive and if gains electron then it will be negative charge .
7) If a body losses an electron then there is also loss of mass also because electron also have mass .
8) charge is conserve for an isolated system
i.e charge neither be created nor be destroyed for an isolated system.
