Heya.....!!!

Thnx for asking such a nice question .

1. Alpha rays ))

➡ Positively charged particles
➡ They Deflect towards negative plate when passing through an applied electric field
➡ They Deflect in Magnetic field , in accordance with Fleming left hand rule .

2. Beta Rays ))

➡ Higly energized electrons
➡ Negatively charged particles
➡Deflect towards positive plate when passing through an electric field

3. Gamma Rays ))

➡ High energy electromagnetic Radiations
➡ Electrically Neutral
➡ Emerges undeflected when passing through electric or magnetic field .

HOPE IT HELPS U ☺☺

alpha rays -

alpha rays are the positively charge particles
- it has an active and highly energetic helium atom .
- helium atom that contains two neutrons and protons .
-that particle has highest ionisation power and minimum penetration power
-they have a capability to ionising a numerous atom by a short distance .

beta rays
- beta rays ,beta particles are highly energetic electrons which are released from inside the nucleous .
- beta particles has negligible mass
- they are negatively charged particles .
- neutron in the nucleus divides into electron and protons , on the emmision of beta particles .
- in the high speed of nuclues in the beta particles ,electron is rejected .

gamma rays
- gamma rays have a power of penetration .
- in the wave of high frequency , electromagnetic spectrum ,has no mass
- gamma rays have no mass of photon , no electrical charge and travel in speed of the light .
- gamma rays are most penetration and least ionising energy .

Navya011: Where is Gamma rays
priya438: sorry , answer is incomplete ,
Navya011: Nice answer
priya438: wait i will give
rohit710: Priya really you have given a good answer
rohit710: Pls edit ur answer and give some information about Gamma rays
priya438: :-) thnk you rohit@
