Explanation:

properties of Metals and non metals

metals have physical properties

*physical state at room temperature

metals most metals are solid at room temperature however mercury is the only that is liquid at room temperature. metals such as gallium francium caesium and rubidium are liquid at room temperature.

&most non metal are solids

however bromine is only the in the liquid state .

strength Mearals are generally strong and hard. however some metals such as potassium are soft that are enough to be cut with a knife's.

whereas in non metal they are soft and brittle .

but exception is diamond .

diamond is known to have the hardest substance....""

color

metals are having colored face

non metals may be colorless

malleability and ductility

metals are malleable and are ductile the most common example is gold and silver

whereas in non metal are non malleable and ductile. they are brittle and can broken easily into power .

sonority is the property of the metal that produces a ringing sound

whereas non metals are not sonorous

electrically conductivity

metals are highly conductive to gain power or electricity as know aluminum is the best example..

bon metals are low in this case ..

thermal conductivity

most metals are highly thermal conductive.

whereas non metals are low conductivity of heat..

hope this helps.....
