 this tutorial on basic geometry concepts, we cover the types and properties of quadrilaterals: Parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus, trapezium.

Definition:

A quadrilateral is a simple closed figure with four sides.

Types of quadrilaterals

There are five types of quadrilaterals.

Parallelogram

Rectangle

Square

Rhombus

Trapezium

One common property of all quadrilaterals is that the sum of all their angles equals 360°.

Let us look into the properties of different quadrilaterals

Hey Mate! ☺✌

Square ■ => Side= All are equal
Diagonals = All are equal and and bisect each other at 90°
Angles = All angles is 90°

Rectangle => Side = Opposite pair of sides is equal.
Diagonals = Diagonals are equal and bisect each other.
Angles = All angles are 90°

Rhombus => Side = All sides are equal.
Diagonals = Bisect each other perpendicularly.
Angles = Angles aren't equal.

Parallelogram => Side = Oppsite pair of sides are equal.
Diagonals = Diagonals bisect each other.
Angles = Angles aren't equal.

Kite => Side = Adjacent angles are equal.
Diagonals = bisect each other at 90°
Angles = Opposite one's are equal.

Hope it helps☺✌
