pros :

• You will get to know many things in the hostel through students who came from different places.
• You will only be focused on studies.
• You will get more time to do all your works like studies, completing notes.
• You can make new friends.

cons :

• there is a possibility that you can learn all kinds of unwanted things from your friends.
• if you have more friends in a hostel then you could get disturbed by your friends while studying...
• some students do gossip till midnight and they disturb other students.
• You have to do all your works by yourself like washing clothes, cleaning your bed...etc
• You have to keep your things safe bcoz in the hostel some students are great in stealing things
• You will miss your parents... :'(
