solve the equations ( I used elimination method)

2x-y=6------------------(1)

x-y=2------------------(2)

________

x=4

_________

substitute the x value in equation (2) ,

4-y=2

-y=-2

~ y=2

quadratic polynomial= a^2+(x+y)a+(xy)

=a^2+(4+2)a+(4.2)

=a^2+6a+8

therefore, quadratic polynomial is

a^2+6a+8
