given zeroes,

6 and,-4

now,

sum of the zeroes = 6+(-4)=2

and,

product of the zeroes=6 x(-4)=-24

therefore the quadratic polynomial is

x^2-(sum of the zeroes)+product of the zeroes

=x^2-2-24

 \alpha = 6 \\ \beta = - 4 \\ {x }^{2} - ( \alpha + \beta )x + \alpha \beta = 0 \\ {x}^{2} -( 6 - 4)x + - 24 = 0\\ {x}^{2} - 2x - 24 = 0

is the required quadratic equation
