Part i). The Quotient is 5

Part ii). The Quotient is 11

Given :

The sum of a 2 digit number 23.

The number we obtained by reversing the digit is 32.

  • Sum of the numbers :

→ 23 + 32

→ 55

  • Sum of the digits 23 or 32 :

→ 3 + 2

→ 5

Now,

Part i),

Find the quotient when 55 is divided by 11.

So,

 \sf \implies \dfrac{55}{11} = 5

Part ii),

Find the quotient when 55 is divided by 5.

So,

 \sf \implies \dfrac{55}{5} = 11

Hence,

Part i). The Quotient is 5

Part ii). The Quotient is 11
