  • let zeros of quadratic equation be as a and b.
  • ATQ.,
  • Therefore, a + b = -3
  • And, a*2 + b*2 = 17
  • We know that,a*2 + b*2 = (a + b)*2 - 2ab
  • (a + b)*2 - 2ab = 17
  • (-3)*2 - 2ab = 17
  • 9 - 2ab = 17
  • -2ab = 17 - 9
  • ab = -8/2
  • ab = -4
  • Therefore,Q.E is x*2 - (a + b)x + ab = 0
  • x*2 + 3x - 4 =0
