- let zeros of quadratic equation be as a and b.
- ATQ.,
- Therefore, a + b = -3
- And, a*2 + b*2 = 17
- We know that,a*2 + b*2 = (a + b)*2 - 2ab
- (a + b)*2 - 2ab = 17
- (-3)*2 - 2ab = 17
- 9 - 2ab = 17
- -2ab = 17 - 9
- ab = -8/2
- ab = -4
- Therefore,Q.E is x*2 - (a + b)x + ab = 0
- x*2 + 3x - 4 =0
