Given :  the sum of a two digit number 54 and the number obtained by reversing the digit divided by sum of  digit

To Find : Quotient

Solution:

a two digit number 54

Sum of digit = 5 + 4 = 9

Number reversed = 45

54 + 45 = 99

99 Divided by 9

Quotient = 11

Generalized

Two digit number XY

Value = 10X + Y

reverse YX

Value = 10Y + X

Sum = 10X + Y + 10Y + X

= 11X + 11Y

= 11(X + Y)

Sum of Digits = X + Y

Hence Quotient  = 11
