When D-glucose react with conc. Nitric acid, it forms Saccharic acid. The saccharic acid is one of the organic acid. It contains carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen atoms. It contains covalent bonds. It is just like a carboxylic acid which is formed by the reaction of concentrate nitric acid and D-glucose. It's molecules are also carbonic or organic in nature.
