Oxidation is loss of electrons while reduction is gain. Fe gets oxidised to Fe2O3 and O2 gets reduced to Fe2O3.
Fe atoms lose electrons and O atoms gains the electrons lost by Fe to from Fe^3+ and O^2- ions. These ions attracted towards each other due to opposite charges to form Ferric oxide.
Here, Fe is the reducing agent while O2 is the oxidising agent.
