The Celsius scale is currently defined by two different temperatures: absolute zero and the triple point of Vienna Standard Mean Ocean Water (VSMOW; specially purified water). Based on this, the relationship between Celsius and Kelvin is as follows: TCelsius=TKelvin−273.15 T Celsius = T Kelvin − 273.15 .

Both the scales has its own thermometer for measurements. Fahrenheit scale is proposed by taking 32°F as a freezing point of water and 212°F as a boiling point of water. Whereas in Celsius scale 0°C is the freezing point of water and 100°C is the boiling point of water.

One small calorie is approximately 4.2 joules (so one large calorie is about 4.2 kilojoules). The factor used to convert calories to joules at a given temperature is numerically equivalent to the specific heat capacity of water expressed in joules per kelvin per gram (or per kilogram, for kilocalories).Ju

Answer:

a). 1°C = 273°K

b). F = 9/5 C + 32

c). 1 small calorie is approximately 4.2 joules and 1

large calorie is about 4.2 kilo joules.

1 calorie = 4.2 kilo joules
