Circles are all similar, and "the circumference divided by the diameter" produces the same value regardless of their radius. This value is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter and is called π (Pi).
Or
TT (often written pi) is a mathematical constant whose value is the ratio between circumference and diameter of any circle in a Euclidean space, is the same value as the ratio of area of a circle and square of its radius. pi=2*pi*R/2*R, where 2*pi*R=circumference of any circle and 2*R=D=diameter of any circle.

We know
Radius = Diameter/2
The relation between diameter (d) and Circumference is
Circumference - 2πr
>> 2π (d/2)
>> πd
