The relation between nano metre and metre is written as 1 nm = 10^{-9} m.

Explanation:

1. Nano metre is smaller unit of length.

2. Relation between nano metre and metre is

   1 nm =10^{-9} m   ...a)

   1m = 10^{9} nm     ...b)

3. Now taking some example to convert nano metre into metre from equation a).

   Nano metre                       Metre

   50 nm =50\times 10^{-9} m =5\times 10^{-8} m

    2000 nm =2000\times 10^{-9} m =2\times 10^{-6} m

4. Now taking some example to convert metre into nano metre from equation b).

  Metre                               Nano metre

 50 m =50\times 10^{9} nm =5\times 10^{10} nm

2000m = 2000\times 10^{9} nm =2\times 10^{12} nm

1\ nm\ = 10^-^9\ m

Explanation:

Nanometre is a very, very small unit of measuring length. It is written as nm.

1 nanometre = \frac {1}{10^9}metre

So,  1 nanometer =  10^-^9m

Atomic radius of C = 0.077 nm

So, atomic radius of C in m = 0.077 x 10^-^9 nm.
