It acts as a back up for bile juice....As the food is not there in small intestine the body sends the unused bile juice to the gall bladder so that the next time uyou eat bile juice can be used up in digestion

It provides a secretion called bile. it works upon fats and change them into a milky substance after that the enzymes take part in further digestion of fats


it maintain the level of nutrients in the body.

it stores vitamins and produce special material for clothing of blood.

it function is to store and concentrate bile .


when food ended the small intestine the gall bladder contracts and secrete bile into the small intestine and help in digestion.
