1) write the symbols side-by-side basic radicals is written first and then acidic radical.

2) write the valency of each item on the top of its symbol.

3) divide the valency number spider highest common factor HCF, if any to get the simplest ratio ignore the positive or negative symbols of the radicals. Interchange the valency of the radicals.

4) write the integers the valency numbers to the lower right of the radicals. If the radical is a group of atom and has valency number more than one, enclose it within bracket
