The sequence after adding 3 to the the multiples of 7 is 10, 17, 24, 31, 38, 45 and 2000 does not exist in it.

Given:

Sequence of multiple of 7.

To Find:

The sequence by adding 3 to the multiples of 7 and to check if 2000 is a term in it.

Solution:

The sequence of multiple of 7 is 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42.. and so on

After adding 3 to each term we get 10, 17, 24, 31, 38, 45..... and so on.

Therefore, the sequence after adding 3 to the the multiples of 7 is 10, 17, 24, 31, 38, 45....

Now to check if 2000 is a term in this sequence we use the formula from A.P in which if n comes out to be natural number then 2000 exists in the sequence.

a' = a + (n-1)d

2000 = 10 + (n-1)3

1990 = (n-1)3

1990/3 is not a natural number therefore 2000 does not exists in the sequence.
