The sequence is 3, 5, 7, 9, ..............

1) The sequence is an arithmetic progression which is the sequence of numbers such that the difference between the consecutive terms of the sequence is constant.

The general term of the AP is :

  • a, a+d, a+2d, a+3d, ................

where a is first term and d is common difference.

2) The first term of the sequence is  3

and The common difference is 2

So the sequence is

  • 3, 3+2, 3+2.2, 3+3.2, .................
  • 3, 5, 7, 9, .......
