Write the set of (a) 1-digit prime numbers; (b) 2-digit prime numbers less than 20. Also state whether the two sets are equal sets or equivalent sets.​

For two sets to be equal they need to have same no. of elements and the exactly same elements in both the sets, order of elements does not matter.

Eg- C= {a,b,c} and D={b,c,a}

then C = D as n(C)=n(D) and also they have the same elements

For two sets to be equivalent they just need to have the same no. of elements.

Eg- C={a,b,c} and E={4,5,6}

then the pair of sets are equivalent as n(C)=n(E).

Hence since the two given sets have the same number of elements but do not have the same elements that's why the given pair of sets is equivalent.
