The set builder notation is { x : x > 19 and x < 32 , x ∈ R }

Given: Common property of Set is real numbers greater than 19 and less than 32

To find: Writing a set builder form for above set

Solution:

Set builder notations is method used for describe a set with the properties of elements without listing them.

The symbols we use in Set builder notations are

∈ - "belongs to" / "is an element of"

∉ - "does not belongs to"/ "is not an element of"

W - whole number;   R denotes real numbers  etc.

And we will use x to represent element and write in bracket {  }

Here common property in given set is real numbers greater than 19 and less than 32

Set builder form

{ x : x is real number greater than 19 and less than 32 }

{ x : x > 19 and x < 32 , x ∈ R }    [ R - real number ]
