Similarities and differences between

Explanation:

  1. Avicennia and trapa- the similarity between them is that both are aquatic plants. they grow in an aquatic environment. The differences are that- Trapa are free floating where as Avicennia are Mangroves; Trapa grow on water surface where as Avicennia grow on marshy saline habitat.
  2. Radical buds and Floral bud- radical buds forms on the radical side of the plant. They give rise to leafy shoots hence they are also called as vegetative buds. floral buds give rise to flowers when mature.
  3. Phylloclade and Cladode- both are aerial modifications. Phylloclade have stem which are flat or cylindrical, succulent and green structure. Cladode have branch which are succulent, green, flat or cylindrical or leaf like structure.
