Ladakh is a cold desert lying in the Great Himalayas, on the eastern side of Jammu and Kashmir. The temperature in Ladakh desert may reach – 45-degree Celsius in winter. The Sahara desert is located in the plain areas having small rocky hills and plateaus with slight elevation. The rocks do not have any flora.

Life is undergoing a change due to modernisation. in sahara the rainfall is 25cm whereas in ladakh the rainfall is 88mm. the climate is hot and dry in sahara.in ladakh the climate is cold. people where lot of clothes in ladakh whereas in sahara they were loose clothes.

Sahara desert is known as hot desert whereas ladakh is known as cold desert . in sahara the temprature rises upto 57 degrees and the rainfall is less than 7.6cm whereas in ladakh the temprature is less than -20 degrees and the rainfall during winters and maximum upto 27 degrees during summer time when the ice melts.
