1. Both are part of a sphere.
2. The mirror formula can be applied for both.

(sign conventions have to be used while using these eqns.)
3. Image formation in both are based on the application of Laws of reflection at small scale i.e by taking the line joining a point on the mirror to the centre as the normal.
