No right to vote.
India became a democratic nation post its independence in the year 1947. Thereafter, the citizens of India were given the right to vote and elect their leaders. In India, it gives its citizens the right to vote irrespective of their caste, color, creed, religion, and gender.
No right to live freedom.Conditions in India before independence was pathetic. Usual families had at least 6-12 children. There was hardly any education among citizens. Deaths due to diseases was high. Epidemics used to wipe out great nos of people.

People were highly orthodox. There was almost no infrastructure development. Only a few rail connections were present. Telephones were present in only highly rich class, others had to imagine or see that in a picture.

Under the Mughal Empire and Rajput control for much of its medieval history until its colonisation by European powers in the mid-eighteenth century, the world's largest democracy by electorate was created after independence in 1947 under the leadership of its nationalist movement, the Indian National Congress.
