Write the smallest possible value of x so that the given number are exactly divisible by 11: 5x8, 7x7, 16x , 983x , 114x4. step by step plzz not in short

1) let me take - 5X8 ..

so, according to the divisibility tricks the alternative number should be added and subtracted the results at the last ..

5X8 -> 5+8 = 13 so, if we subtract x from 13 then the result should a multiple of 11 ..

so, 2 and 13 are possible to subtract and get the multiple. but the least one is 2 . then ,

x = 2 ---- (1)

2) same as the second , 7X7 => 7+7 = 14 - x = multiple of 11 .. (14-11) = x , x = 3 ..

4) here , 983X => (9+3)-8+x)= 11

=> 12-8+x = 11

=> 4+x = 11

=> x = 7... same as do the others :):););)
