Given, 4x+1≥17

⇒4x≥16

⇒x≥4

Since x is a set of natural numbers.

Since x is a set of natural numbers.Therefore, x={4,5,6,7,8....}

Step-by-step explanation:

Becauae x is natural no.

So, Our set would be x = (1,2,3,4....)

we need to find the values of x which satisfy the given inequality

On putting x = 1, we get

4(1) + 1

5

which is less than 17.

So the inequality satisfy

On putting x = 2, we get

4(2) +1

8+1

9

which is less than 17.

So the inequality satisfy

On putting x = 3, we get

4(3) + 1

12+1

13

which is less than 17

So the inequality satisfy

On putting x = 4, we get

4(4) +1

16 +1

17

which equal to 17

So the inequality does not satisfy

and also 4x+1 is increasing function which means that all the no. above 4 also does not satisfy the given inequality.

So, we can say that the subset x = (1,2,3)

are the only solution to this inequality.

Hope this will help U☺
