Write the solutions for log (x^3-3)=0 and write them in roster form ?

Given that

log(x³-3) = 0

⇒ log(x³-3) = log1               [ since log1 = 0 ]

Taking anti log, we get

⇒ x³-3 = 1

⇒ x³ = 4

⇒ x = 4^(1/3)

Hence x= { 4^(1/3)}

log(x^3 -x) = 0

we will take over 10 on both sides

10^log(x^3-x) = 10^0

x^3 - x = 1

x^3 -x - 1 = 0

now, we can solve for x

so, we will get  

x=1.325
