Adopting Animals From The Street Is Better
Than Buying Them From The
Pet Shops
Good morning everyone present here. Distinguished guests, learned jury, and my dear fellow students, I stand here to expatiate on Adopting animals from the street is better than buying them from the pet shops.
Firstly, the ever growing urbanization has reduced the habitat of not only the wild animals, but the domesticated animals also. Dogs, cats, ponies, bulls, cows, oxen, can often be seen roaming here and there in search of either food, water or shelter. Some of them killed on roads while crossing to the other side!
Won't it be better if a home or group of homes adopt these helpless animals? Keeping a bucket or bowl of water for these poor, animals won't even cost a penny to us; feeding such hungry, needy animals with leftovers won't put any extra financial burden on us! In return, we will receive their unconditional love from them!
Some people buy animals from pet shops; there is a surety that these animals will be bought by someone. However, stray animals on streets require more care from us as there is no one to take care of them. So, it is better to adopt animals from street than buy them from a shop.
