Solution:

Standard form of quadratic  equation. is

ax² + bx + c = 0

where a , b and c are real  numbers  and  a ≠ 0

a is coefficient of x²

b is coefficient of x

c is constant term

D = b² - 4ac  is discriminant

D = 0 roots are real and equal

D > 0 root are real and unequal

D < 0 roots are imaginary

roots are given by   (-b ± √D) /2a

Factored form of Quadratic equation

k(x - p)(x - q) = 0

where p and q are zeroes of Quadratic equation
