the plants need a source of external energy like we do. for example they take raw material as we do (Dal, rice etc) which are carbon dioxide and water use the source of energy(which for us is LPG) which is sunlight and convert the raw material into glucose(which for us is the tasty dishes we eat) which is the final food for them.

Answer:

leaves are main food factories for plants

water and minerals in the soil are absorbed by the roots of the plants and transported to the leaves

carbon dioxide present in the air is taken from the tiny pores present on the surface of the leaves these sports are known as stomata

water and minerals which are absorbed by the rules are transported to the pipes called as the vessels and send to the stem the branches and leaves of the plant

it is the form of continuous path or passage for the nutrients to reach the leaves

these are called as the vessels

the leaves have the green pigment called as the chlorophyll

chlorophyll help the leaf to capture the energy of the sunlight this energy is used to synthesis food from the carbon dioxide and water

since the synthesis of food occurs in the presence of sunlight the process is called as the photosynthesis

the solar energy is captured by the leaves and stored in the plant in the form of food hence we can say that sun is the ultimate source of energy for all the living organisms
