Steps are given as follows :
1. Take the onion and with the help of blade take out its lower epidermis.
2. Put it into a watch glass in which water is stored.
3. Add few drops of Safframin solution on to it, leave it for some time.
4. Now take a slide and by the help of brush take that onion peel out and put it on the slide , now add some drops of glycerine on it.
5. With the help of pin try to put the cover slip in order to avoid bubbles.
6. Adjust the microscope and place your slide under it and observe it.
