Steps to add border to a document are :-
- Select the text to be put within a border
- Click on the down arrow key present beside the border button and select the borders and shading option
- The borders and shading dilog box appears on the screen
- Select the required border style from the setting list
- Finally , click on <OK> button
- The required border and shading will be applied on the selected text
