Steps to add border to a document are :-

  • Select the text to be put within a border

  • Click on the down arrow key present beside the border button and select the borders and shading option

  • The borders and shading dilog box appears on the screen

  • Select the required border style from the setting list

  • Finally , click on <OK> button

  • The required border and shading will be applied on the selected text
