1. acetone undergoes clemmensen reduction in presence of amalgam and conc.HCL to give propane.

ch3-co-ch3 =(Zn-Hg/cnoc.HCL)=ch3-co-ch3
acetone. propane

2. Acetone reacts with semicarbazide to from semicarbazone.
O

CH3 \ C = O + H2N— NH — C — NH2 = (H+)= CH3 /. O
CH3 \ ||
C = N — NH — C — N
CH3 /

3. Acetone reduces to from tartiary alcohol in the presence of Grignard reagent.

CH3 \ CH3\. /O- -Mgbr
C= O + CH3MgBr =(H+)= C
CH3 / CH3/ \CH3
|H3O-
