heya..!!
I'm giving u a short story seen by the eyes of an patriot and freedom fighter....pls read whole of it...!!

indeed.. every moment we breathe is due to the full fledged freedom struggle and the bloodshed ...it brings tears to my eyes while realising that if today I'm alive...it's because of their strong willed efforts..
so here's the story..
this story is being narrated by a freedom fighter... remember that..

AT THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT

it brings tears to my eyes at realising what we have lost.. and what we have gained..at the cost of freedom..
the British had been cruel and inhuman in their slaughtering assurances to us..
but what did it result in? the partition of our country! really? I have seen with these old eyes of mine ...the pain suffered by the people and the freedom struggle..
even my family had been living a wretched and disappointing life ever since 200 yrs..

I had been a freedom fighter and a patriot since the age of 14 ...and I know what is the cost of everyone's life..
I was a follower of Gandhiji...in the various satyagrahas he fought..with the British..
various massive movements were carried out..

and I was filled with glory at the sight of young children waving little old flags...I was one of them..
all this wasn't enough to drive the British AWAY MERCILESSLY from Delhi..
but we all were determined..
slowly we realised that India can't be freed by ahimsa alone...

violence is necessary..
and then I joined the INA-by Subhash Chandra Bose..I was a part of that group which had to directly combat with the government...

we tirelessly worked and it was painful to see my friends and teammates die..in front of my sight...

lastly..at the STROKE OF MIDNIGHT .
.... WHEN U PERHAPS SLEPT... INDIA AWOKE TP NEW FREEDOM..but I'm really sad and disheartened to say that we lost one of our parts...THE FAMOUS TRYST WITH DESTINY SPEECH BY JAWAHARLAL NEHRU JI WAS WITNESSED BY ME...AND IT WAS A MOMENT THAT COULDN'T BE DESCRIBED IN WORDS OF MINE..

I AM STILL VERY VERY GREATFUL TO ALL THE LIVING LEGENDS...LIKE...
SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE..
MAHATMA GANDHI..
JAWAHARLAL NEHRU
BHAGAT SINGH
THE LIST IS ENDLESS ...

AND I'M PROUD TO SAY THAT WE ARE A VERY ENRICHED AND WONDERFUL NATION...AND ARE CONTINUING TO SHOW PUR EXCELLENCE IN ALMOST ALL ARENAS...
