Let p ( x ) = x³ - 4x ,

Compare p( x ) ,

with ax³ + bx² + cx + d ,

a = 1 , b = 0 , c = -4 , d = 0 ;

1 ) sum of the zeroes = - b/a

= - 0/1 = 0

2 ) product of the zeroes = - d/a

= - 0 / 1

= 0
