To find zero of polynomial, let

p(x)=0=x²-4x

0=x(x-4)

So, x=0 or

x=4

Sum of zero of polynomial is 4+0=4

Product of zero of polynomial is 4×0=0

So your answer is 4 and 0 respectively.

Hope this helps

I’m an idiot for posting this answer: a = 1/2, c = 5

The correct answer, found by solving the system of equations

a + c = 10 and a*c=10.

Rounding the decimal answers, I get 8.87 and 1.13.
