write the Summary of it. The Way of Life in Villages : Most people who live in the villages are farmers. Their way of life is simple. Artisans and workers too lead a simple life like that of farmers. We shall, therefore, study how the farmers live. Food : Generally, we eat the kind of food grains that we produce in our region. the main article of food which many people eat is jowar or bajra bhakri. Rice is the main article of food that many others eat. Still others eat what thapatie Dal vegetables, chutney onions etc. are also included in the diet. On festive occasions a special sweet dish like 'puran-poli' is prepared. People living near the sea-coast mainly eat rice and fish Clothes : The farmer generally wears a dhoti, a 'bandi' or a shirt. He wears a cap or a turban or a roomal-turban. Some of them wear a shirt and a pair of pyjamas Ladies wear a nineyard sari and a choli. Nowadays women in villages have started wearing a six-yard sari. Houses : In regions where the rainfall is low, houses are flat-roofed. The houses in areas where there is a heavy rainfall, have sloping roofs.​
