The story, "A Letter to God" by G.L. Fuentes depicts unwavering faith of a farmer in God. It begins with a farmer, named Lencho expecting for a rain shower to nourish his field of corn. He is confident that his harvest is going to yield him huge profits just like it does every year.
Answer- 'Letter to God' by G.L. Fuentes is the story to show the peak trust and believe of a farmer, Lencho (who totally depend on his crops to run his life) on GOD. Lencho was hoping for a good harvest this year but hail storms ruin all his expectations. And at that time his only hope was GOD, who helps every one. He wrote a letter to god demanding 100 pesos to run their livelihood this year and to plant maize crops again . when this letter reached post office every employee had a great laugh on this letter to GOD by Lencho. But post master was greatly mesmerized after watching such strong trust on god and decided not to shake Lencho's faith . he donated his salary, asked for money from his friends on this act of charity.When Lencho came back to know response of god post master handed over letter to Lencho with name GOD on it. Lencho was happy but when he counted notes he found only 70 pesos he thought that god could not make any mistake. He wrote letter again , ,and this time when postmaster read that letter it was written that ' I want full money to run my house , I know you can't make such mistake , these post office employees are bunch of crooks, you should send my money directly to me this time'. Lencho couldn't suspect that it could be someone else who would have helped him.
