Answer:

The summary of the chapter A Feast for Rats from the publishers of Orient Black Swan is briefed below.

Explanation:

This is the story about some boys who don't need to be taught by their new scholar. They were returning to high school by train from their own houses after the vacations. that they had already composed a poem against their new Sanskrit teacher, Kalikumar Tarkalankar. The poem's creative title, The Sacrificial Death of the Black Pumpkin, was Kalo Kumror Balidan. Loudly, they were reciting it. At that point, an elderly man alighted from the train at Arkhol station. He carried a bedroll, two or three earthen pots sealed with cloth, a tin trunk, and some bundles. Bichkun, a tough-looking boy, called resolute him that there's no room for him here, go and find another compartment. The gentleman replied that there's no room anywhere, he will just take a bit corner and won't disturb them. Then the old man asked the boys in a friendly manner where they were going. Bichkun replied quickly that they were visiting to perform a funeral ceremony. Then the person asked whose funeral ceremony are they going. The reply came as ''Kalo-Kumro-Tatka- Lanka's!''. Then boys chorused together, Kalo-Kumro-Tatkal-Lanka, Black-Pumpkin-Green-Chilli, we are going to teach you a lesson and cause you to look silly! once they reached Ansel station. Bichkun said that it's better to maneuver out of the compartment. They said that there are rats everywhere. The boys showed the old man that his two pots were empty and every one of the sweets had been polished off. The elderly man grinned and remarked that the poor rats must be starving to death. The boys were rather disappointed to work out that the old man wasn't irritated despite much teasing. after they reached the following station, Burdwan, the old man informed them that he was moving to a different compartment. When the boys heard that, they chorused, ''NO''. Then they said ok and went outside for a moment. Soon, the old man arrived together with the sweet vendor. He handed everyone a touch bag of sweets from the sweet vendor and said that there'll be no shortage of food for the rats. He also brought some mangoes for him. The boys asked him, where he was going, The old man replied that he was searching for employment. Then they clapped their hands and offered to come back as their Sanskrit teacher. Then the boys took him to their station. once they arrived the secretary himself came to receive the new teacher. Seeing the old man, the Secretary said, Welcome, welcome, Tarkalankar moshav. With these words, he bends down to touch the gentleman's feet to supply his respects. Hearing these all the boys were surprised to grasp that they arrived with Kalikumar Tarkalankar!!!.
