Answer: Medina Charter was written by Prophet Mohammad, the founder of Islamic religion.
He created this political and constitutional document for the benefits of ten thousand citizens of Medina, in 622 AD.
It was the first constitution of human civilization in written form.
It guaranteed equal rights for every citizen and allowed them to participate in government affairs.
There were 47 clauses in this Charter, for safeguarding the interests of Arab Muslims staying in Medina, the ‘City of Prophet’.
